Iran Uranium and Veils or No Veils

Looking at a relaxation of the proverbial Uranian hard line.

This video was inspired by a report on the Italian State TV channel, TG Uno (TG1)

It was also one of my first attempts to get creative with the CapCut video editing software.

The inclusion of the TG1 clip was made using Windows 11 facility that records online gaming, found under: Windows 11 Settings → Gaming → Record What Happened — or more easily Windows Key+Alt+G.

Before discovering this option, recording the equivalent of 'catch-up' TV with other software usually resulted in no audio being recorded, and it was also hard to do.

CapCut's AI language transcription system translated the original Italian — this is a lot harder than it looks, and takes forever to get right.

Without a good working knowledge of the translated channel language, I do not believe that it would have been possible to make sure that the subtitles were accurately translated.

As it is, here the subtitles move too quickly.

I have not done another one, mainly because of the time needed to correct and update the translation issues.

The intro is unchanged in format size.
